See your parent’s SSM Health MyChart account
Hospitals call this proxy access, or family access. You sign in with your own login and switch to your parent’s account, so you never need their password. At SSM Health: the patient gives access from their own account.
- 1Your parent logs in to SSM Health MyChart and gives you access under Health, then Share My Record. They can choose any adult.
- 2If your parent cannot do this, SSM Health has an online form to sign up on behalf of an adult. It needs an activated healthcare power of attorney or guardianship papers on file at SSM Health.
- 3Your parent can end your access at any time.
