How to see your parent’s My CS-Link account with your own login, how to get copies from the records office, and how to keep the results in one place.

See your parent’s My CS-Link account

Hospitals call this proxy access, or family access. You sign in with your own login and switch to your parent’s account, so you never need their password. At Cedars-Sinai: the patient signs an authorization form or sends an invitation.

  1. 1Invite route: your parent sends a proxy invite through the Friends and Family Access page in My CS-Link.
  2. 2Form route: complete the Authorization for Third Party Access to My CS-Link Account form for a competent adult. You both sign.
  3. 3Bring the completed form to your parent's next physician visit. Staff check your government ID.
  4. 4You must have your own My CS-Link account and be at least 18.
  5. 5The form says your access ends 10 years after your parent signs if they are 26 or older.
