Hospitals call this proxy access, or family access. You sign in with your own login and switch to your parent’s account, so you never need their password. At Baptist Health (Jacksonville): the patient grants access; a caregiver of a dependent adult can request it.

  1. 1Your parent must grant you access from the Sharing Hub in their own My Baptist Chart account.
  2. 2Each person needs their own account, and you must be at least 18.
  3. 3If your parent is a dependent adult, sign in to your own account and search the Menu for Request Minor Access.
  4. 4Complete that form. You are usually notified within 5 business days.
